Rajamani, the music director, who is highly popular for his background scores, passed away yesterday (Feb 14th, Sunday).
The 60-year-old was admitted at a private hospital in Chennai,
due to health issues. He was the son of veteran music director BA Chidamabaranath. Rajamani is survived by wife Beena, the former basketball player, sons Aditya Rajamani, a lawyer and Achu Rajamani, a musician. The musician, who made his composing debut in 1985 with the movie Nulli Novikkathe, was active in the field since last 3 decades. He has only composed about 150 songs in his entire career.
